What to do after an accident
Five steps — from the accident scene to a repaired car.
- 1
Record the accident
If no one is injured, fill in the European accident statement (CSNg) or call the police. Take photos of the damage and the scene.
- 2
Notify the insurer
Report the claim to your own (KASKO) or the at-fault driver’s (OCTA) insurer and say you want the repair done at EV Workshop.
- 3
Check what your policy covers
Ask your insurer whether towing and a replacement car are included. If so, the insurer arranges them.
- 4
Bring the car to us
We prepare the estimate and photo report free of charge within a few working days and send it to the insurer.
- 5
Approval and repair
Once the insurer approves, we repair the car and keep you updated. Approval usually takes up to 2 weeks.
